The era of relying on heating in the north and shivering in the south is gradually disappearing. Even though the south still lacks central heating, wall-hung boilers offer a convenient, flexible, healthy, and comfortable heating solution. Many choose gas wall-hung boilers where central heating is unavailable. Wall-hung boilers are sophisticated integrated water and electricity devices, and safety is paramount. Today, Song Brothers will share safety and energy-saving tips to ensure a warm and comfortable life during the upcoming cold season. 1. Always use the gas type specified on the product nameplate (natural gas, artificial gas, liquefied petroleum gas, biogas, etc.) and not indiscriminately. 2. The wall-hung boiler should be installed in the kitchen or an enclosed balcony, but not in a bathroom or bedroom. 3. The boiler must remain powered on when freezing temperatures are possible. In standby mode, as long as the gas is flowing freely, the main circulation pipe is unobstructed, and the heating system is under normal water pressure, the boiler's antifreeze function and the pump's anti-interference protection will work. If any of these conditions are not met, the boiler, pipes, and radiators may be damaged by freezing, even causing safety accidents. In winter, if there is a prolonged power outage, or if you are away from home for an extended period and freezing conditions are likely, drain the heating system water to prevent freezing damage. 4. Supplement pressure to 1.0 - 1.5 bar. Close the supplementary valve; otherwise, the heating system's overpressure safety valve will continuously leak, potentially saturating indoor items. If the pressure is too high during water replenishment, water can be drained through the drain valve or air vent on the radiator. When the wall-hung boiler is operating, the pressure will rise, a normal phenomenon caused by water expansion during heating. Most wall-hung boilers have overpressure protection and pressure relief devices. When the system pressure exceeds the normal value, the user will be prompted to reduce the pressure. Improper installation of the wall-hung boiler's exhaust system can lead to flue gas backflow and incomplete combustion. Incomplete combustion produces indoor hypoxia, affecting user health. Therefore, it is recommended to use the original piping when installing a wall-hung boiler, and the flue's installation location should not be changed arbitrarily. If relocation or change of installation location is necessary, contact a professional technician for on-site handling. Most household wall-hung boilers are installed in the kitchen, but other appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, and induction cooktops are also often found there. These appliances have strong radiation. When using high-radiation appliances, maintain a distance from the wall-hung boiler to prevent interference with its operation.
